JURA SKAŁKA ADVENTURE 2010 is a next edition of an extreme race placed in Kraków -Częstochowa – Jurassic Highland Chain which will take place on 27th and 28th of May. Unique scenery and race obstacles prepared by nature. Organizers added the whole logistics and professional service whereas participants apart from their fitness and stamina will be able to demonstrate their strategic thinking.

The event will be organized on three routes: MASTERS, SPEED, EASY, on each of them Jurassic adrenaline will be felt among limestone hills, caves, rocks, desert sands and ruins of medieval castles.

The race is about covering the distance according to a map and completing special tasks. Those are designed so that everyone can participate and treat it as an opportunity to gain experience. Thanks to acquisition of a wide range of partners, the cost of participation in this event is nominal, at the same time gives a chance to win valuable prizes.

Jura Skałka Adventure continues tradition of adventure races, which were initiated in this part of Jura in 2003 by enthusiasts from various scouting and tourist environments.

By winning the titular sponsor – the manufacturer of water and drinks JURA Skałka and support of many allies and partners, the program of the race was drawn up in a way that it attracted participants from all over Poland – including entitled players competing in this type of races in Poland and abroad. Participants of the race were also scouts, members of school sports clubs, members of addictions treatment centres. Although all of them started on different routes they were brought together by common goals like a need to test themselves and experiencing a great adventure.

One can win: participation in European racings, tourist and sports equipment.

The purpose of the race is to promote active leisure time spending related to the specific features of Kraków-Częstochowa Jurassic Highland’s scenery and promotion of the region among Poland. It is a challenge for anyone who wants to feel the Jurassic adrenaline!

The organizers of the race are: The Society of Friends of Zawiercie Region, District Police in Zawiercie, ‘Diablac’ Academic association and the Association of Tourist Office Initiatives Nubura.
